The Lloyd Center for the Environment (LCE) received a donated old ranch house from an abutting neighbor that intended to demolish the structure. The building was moved to the Lloyd Center where it remained for nearly a decade until we were hired to help decide what, if any, use could be developed. We elevated the structure, installed a new foundation, handicap accessible restrooms, and classrooms for environmental programs and camp activities. The original house became intern-enabling housing on the upper level. The Bond House was reclaimed and transformed into the Bond Educational Center.
