studio2sustain extended the artistic experience into the landscape.
We designed a sustainable teaching garden with an Energy Sculpture for this privately supported public library in Wareham. The garden will feature indigenous plantings of wildflowers, herbs and flowering plants and be used as a living classroom for local students. The Energy Sculpture celebrates the ever-present American flag and nautical heritage in this sailing community. The energy generated from the sculpture will support an interactive poetry display inside the library and garden lights.
