Public Art is an opportunity to further engage a community, fostering sustainability literacy and a culture of environmental awareness. studio2sustain sees public art, especially sculpture, as a means to message innovation and collaboration. We practice in a port city with a deep and honorable ocean heritage. More importantly, our port city is transitioning to a new world where our ocean resources are both our heritage and our future. studio2sustain is honored to participated in several public sculpture projects that celebrate a community of pioneers, innovators and craftsmen that drive a creative conversation that invites all ideas to the street corner.
studio2sustain uses the process of making sculpture in our hands-on workshops and exercises. We develop hands-on collaborative build exercises that place our heads in our hands and enable expressive, creative and purposeful discoveries. Please see “talks and workshops” for additional sculpture-model exercises.
